It could be argued that the length and complexity of the sentences used represent the laborious nature of being a Police Officer. However, this is juxtaposed by the colourful, youthful layout of the text would be more likely to appeal to a younger audience. Overall, the text appeals to a wide audience by counterbalancing the more stereotypically older and mature language with more youthful affordances and layout.
